Ways to Serve

Find upcoming events & opportunities to serve below. No upcoming events? You can serve with our community partners anytime! Visit their websites for information on ways to serve.

On November 2 we begin our Thanksgiving Blessing Box Drive at Devoted City’s Cary Campus. We are supporting 50 families in need at Salem Middle School by providing what they need for their thanksgiving meal.

How does it work? On Sunday Nov. 2nd or 9th, you’ll pick up a box containing a shopping list for one family. Fill the box with the listed items, and return by Sunday, November 16th! No need to sign up, just pick up a box after service!

Below are the Christmas Outreach Opportunities at our North Raleigh campus.

All gifts must be dropped off to 9500 Durant Rd by November 23. Keep reading for more details, or stop by the tables in the lobby beginning November 1 & 2.

Brentwood Elementary

Each year we receive wishlists from children at Brentwood Elementary.Pick up a wishlist from the lobby before or after service beginning November 1 & 2. Important Details:

  • All gifts must be wrapped & include the child’s assigned number on the gift.
  • Please return the wishlist with purchased items circled, so the family knows what gifts to expect!
  • Gifts must be brought to 9500 Durant Rd by November 23.

Operation Christmas Child

Join in on the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child! Fill shoeboxes with fun toys, school supplies, or personal care items for children in need around the world. Attach Samaritan’s Purse label which indicates if the box is intended for a boy or girl and the appropriate age group. You may choose to include a personal note or photo in the box but that is optional. An optional $10 donation is recommended to cover the costs for the project, shipping, etc. Additional labels and instructions on ways to give can be found online at samaritanspurse.org. Boxes are due back to DCC no later than November 23rd.
