3 Ways to Pray for Saturday Nights

Our North Raleigh Campus is launching a new service time on Saturday Nights at 5pm, beginning September 7.

Why? We want to provide more space for people to find, trust, and follow Jesus. If you attend on Sunday mornings, you know we’re filling up nearly every seat. A Saturday service provides more space, and it’s at an alternative time, for those who can’t (or won’t) attend on a Sunday morning.

Join us in praying for this new service time.

1. Pray for those searching for a church home

Pray for the families and individuals in our community looking for a church home, where they can grow to know Jesus. It’s hard to find a church home – so we pray that people will feel welcomed when they attend, whether on a Saturday night or Sunday morning. We specifically pray for those who are hesitant to attend church on a Sunday, and hope that an alternative service time will open their hearts to getting into biblical community.

2. Pray for our teams

We are so thankful for the many volunteers that make a service happen! As we start a new service time, we pray for our teams to be energized and excited to serve. We pray for others to jump into a team to help create the environment where people find, trust, and follow Jesus.

Serving is a fun and easy way to get connected and meet others at Devoted City. We grow in community. Serve in first impressions, kids, support teams, and more. Sign up to learn more.

3. Pray for all our services

No matter what service (or campus) you attend, we’re praying for you. As people make the switch from Sunday mornings to Saturday nights, we pray for people on Sundays to take the opportunity to get plugged in by serving, joining groups, inviting friends, etc. We pray for the many new families and individuals we see on Sundays, that they will feel welcomed and see a space for them to grow in their faith.
