I never planned on being a pastor. But God relentlessly pursued me with His grace until I gave in. Years back, I was living far from God—a reminder that continues to motivate me to help others find their way. I spent 12 years in college ministry in West Virginia, Louisiana, and North Carolina before God called me to plant a church. My family has called Raleigh home since 1998. My wife, Cinda, and I have three daughters: Molly, Abby, and Lexi.

I grew up in Danville, Virginia, where I spent the first 18 years of my life before heading off to college. I studied Music and Biblical Studies at Liberty University, following my time at Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. During those years, I had the opportunity to travel with several bands and vocal groups, which allowed me to experience churches and ministries across the country. Those experiences played a significant role in shaping my calling to serve the local church. God has continually grown in me a passion to see His people live lives of worship — not just on stage, but in everyday life.
I met my wife, Sarah, while attending Liberty, and we were married in 2012. We now have three kids and live in Wake Forest. I love football (Go Steelers!), 90s music, cooking on my Pit Boss, and try to fit in as many family beach trips as possible. We are so thankful God placed us in this community and we look forward to what God will continue to build at Devoted City Church.

I have lived in Raleigh since 1991. Me and my wife Kim have two children, Nick and Elizabeth. I started following Jesus in 1982 but never imagined being a pastor. For 18 years I served as an IBM software engineer, loving the work and the people I did it with. Through a difficult season of healing, I grew in trusting Jesus to lead me day to day – and my mission became helping others find that same comfort and purpose. In 2005, God led me to carry that mission into leadership at Devoted City. I love introducing people to Jesus and helping them grow in their faith, no matter where they are in their journey.

God captured my heart in 2014 and began my journey into ministry in my hometown of Orlando, Florida. Along the way, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Preaching and Church Leadership from Johnson University and a Master of Divinity from Liberty University.
I joined the team at Devoted City in 2023 and have loved seeing God move in incredible ways. While serving in the local church, I also serve as a Chaplain in the Army Reserves.
I enjoy starting my day with a warm cup of coffee, traveling all over with my beautiful wife, Shelby, and our son, Dietrich, and catching as many European soccer games as possible. Shelby and I are grateful to be serving at Devoted City, and we pray that God continues His amazing work in and through DCC.

I love being a native North Carolinian, growing up in Eastern NC! I spent much of my early adult ministry life working with college students (7 years at NC State and 10 years at Mid Atlantic Christian University). I’ve had the honor of helping people find, trust, and follow Jesus at DCC since August of 2017. My lovely wife Laura and I have been married since 2015 and she serves our community as an amazing Elementary teacher. I’m a huge sports fan (GO HEELS) and we love to travel. We are big time beach people!

I grew up in Western North Carolina and moved to Raleigh to attend NC State University (go Pack!). My wife, Ashley, and I have two wonderful daughters, and we’ve called Wake Forest home since 2011.
We started attending Devoted City in 2014, and it didn’t take long for us to experience what true community looks like, as we were surrounded by people who care deeply and strive to help you grow in your faith. I began serving on a volunteer team, and over time, God began to stir something in my heart that I couldn’t ignore. After 20 years in the corporate world, He made it clear He was calling me into full-time ministry.
I love building relationships and walking alongside people through all seasons of life. I’m incredibly grateful to now serve on staff at Devoted City Church and to be part of helping people find, trust, and follow Jesus.

My husband Rob and I have been part of Devoted City since 2004, back when our children were still in elementary school. Today, they are grown, married, and raising families of their own. It brings me so much joy to see them walking with Jesus and loving His church.
I joined the staff team in 2007 and am grateful to serve by using my gifts in details and systems to help care for people and shepherd them well.
I’m especially passionate about marriage mentoring and helping others apply biblical truth in their everyday lives. Being “Nan” to our three amazing granddaughters is my greatest joy, and I cherish time with our family. I also love good coffee, beautiful words, and a good, hearty laugh.

I’m originally from Upstate New York and attended Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida before my husband Jay and I married and started our family in Memphis, Tennessee. After moving back to New York and welcoming our three daughters, Zoe, Brooklyn, and Nora, we eventually felt the Lord leading us south again. In 2015, God opened the door for us to move to the Raleigh area, and we’ve loved calling it home ever since. I serve as Donnie’s assistant, and our family loves being involved in the church community and seeing how God is at work both on and behind the scenes.

My husband, Jeff, and I have 3 sons who have blessed us with fun and energetic grandkids. We love spending our free time with them as much as possible! We’ve been at Devoted City since 2010 after moving from Cincinnati, OH where we had lived for 20 years. The first and only church we visited was DCC. 2 of our sons, who were teenagers at the time, loved the youth group so we decided to stay. I got involved in women’s Bible study and quickly felt a part of the church. Prior to moving here, I had been a SAH mom for 20 years and also homeschooled our sons. Shortly after moving to Raleigh, God opened up a job opportunity at Devoted City in 2010. Being on staff has been a huge joy for me! My relationship with Jesus has grown more since coming to DCC than it had in my prior 30+ years of being a Christ follower.

I have lived in North Carolina my whole life. Attended college at UNCW where I met my wife Kari. We moved to Raleigh after graduation, and tried out a few churches before attending Devoted City about 20 years ago. Kari and I have enjoyed being involved with the Kids and Safety ministries at Devoted City. After spending 26 years in the mortgage industry, I started to feel pulled toward a new career. I was so excited for the opportunity to join the staff at Devoted City Church. I look forward to helping make our buildings a safe, comfortable and secure environment for people to gather and worship.

Born and raised in Raleigh, I grew up through the different ministries at Devoted City. I met my wife, Molly, during the first week my family attended Devoted City when I was 7 years old. I attended UNCW, and after Molly and I got married in 2019 we came back to Raleigh where I started running outdoor recreation programs for the City of Raleigh. My passion is to help students get excited about the Bible and to create experiences that build meaningful community. I also love learning new things, Taco Bell Fire Sauce, breakfast food, fermenting things, climbing trees, baking bread, and getting to spend quality time with people.

I’m originally from Wake Forest and can’t remember my first time at Devoted City—mainly because I was two years old! I loved growing up here, being baptized in high school, and later interning during my junior and senior years.
I studied Mathematics Education at Appalachian State, where I met my husband; we bonded over Jesus and calculus. After getting married, we moved back to the Raleigh area and began working as high school math teachers. My passion for students has ultimately led me back to where my faith began: Devoted City Youth. I care deeply about discipling students alongside their families and helping them experience the joy of life with Jesus. I like to say I’m a professional high schooler! I love trying new things, being outdoors, making poorly timed jokes, and all things mascots.

I love the local church! Since growing up at Devoted City and working for a church planting organization, I’ve seen firsthand how the local church makes a difference. I met my husband, Nick, at Devoted City. We both attended UNCW (wings up) and love going back to Wilmington any chance we get. We welcomed our daughter, Dorothea, into our family in August 2025. I love the outdoors, rock climbing, photography, and coffee shops – all of that being the best when I’m with friends!

I’ve always had a passion for photography, videography, live production, etc. As I matured I felt God calling me to use my gifting full-time to worship and invite vulnerability for Him. In 2021, that calling became reality here at Devoted City. My wife, Sophie and I are blessed to serve on staff together and help people find, trust, and follow Jesus.

As our Graphic Designer and a member of the Worship Staff, I have many opportunities to be creative and use my gifts for the glory of God. I am honored to partner in the Mission to help people find, trust, and follow Jesus!

I grew up in Florida. I spent my teens and twenties on the road, playing guitar and bass in touring bands. In between tours, I served at my home church as a musician and mix engineer. That is where I fell in love with helping create distraction free environments for people to encounter Jesus.
I have always loved North Carolina and I finally got the opportunity to move here in 2017. As soon as I started attending Devoted City, it felt like home.
I love coffee shops, music studio gear, and spending time with my wife, Sarah, and our cat, Benny.

I love Jesus and I love people, so helping people connect in groups that will help move them closer to Jesus is my favorite thing! I have been on staff since 2016 helping people get connected in a group as well as developing, training, and providing resources to group leaders. Additionally, I write the curriculum and provide teaching for the Women’s Bible Study. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have three married sons and seven grandchildren.

I lived in Raleigh for 30 years with my husband, Michael and our two (now adult) daughters, Lauren and Lindsey. We first came to Devoted City in 2004, looking for a church that preached the word of God and had a great children’s ministry. We found it at DCC. I soon came on staff in a volunteer role, and then as a part time staff member. We moved to Winterville, NC in 2023 to be close to our granddaughter (and now also a grandson!). I work part time remotely to help with group administration. I love Jesus, working with people who also love Jesus, and hearing stories of how God changes lives. I’m so grateful for the Savior who meets us where we are.

I am originally from the Chicago area where my husband Eric and I raised 2 beautiful daughters, Ally and Maddy. I retired from my career in pharmacy in 2023 after which I felt called to serve the Lord and joined the DCC staff as the North Raleigh Campus Admin. I am grateful to have this opportunity and to work alongside a passionate group of people helping others find, trust, and follow Jesus. I enjoy spending time with my family, going on long walks, trying new restaurants and exploring new towns.

I was born in El Salvador and raised in Maryland, where I met my husband Eric. We have two children: Cristina and DJ. We moved to North Carolina in 2017 and first came to DCC in the spring of 2018. I started as a volunteer at the Welcome Tent, and then left a career in physical therapy to join the DCC staff in 2023 as Guest Services Director. I’m so grateful to the Lord for allowing me to use my skills to serve Him and to be part of such a life-giving church community. I pray I can help create a space that encourages others to do the same. In my free time I enjoy reading, music, crafting. theater, and all things artsy.

I grew up in Massachusetts, married Jana in 1992 and moved to North Carolina in December 2019 (thinking we would spend 2020 doing all sorts of exciting new things…). We started coming to Devoted City in the spring of 2021 and it has been amazingly transformational for both of us. It is the church home we never thought we would find.
About a year later, I retired from software engineering, unsure of what would come next. God had a plan! The Cary City Serving Lead moved away, and I have served in that role ever since. It has been awesome to see the generosity of the people of DCC and all the ways that has blessed our community.
My faith has grown so much since I’ve been part of DCC. He truly uses broken vessels for His glory.
